THE VERLOT CAMPGROUND

Verlot Campground

Good view of river, popular swimming and tubing site.

From Everett drive east on SR 92 to Granite Falls. Continue about 11.5 miles to Verlot Campground, managed by Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Darrington Ranger Station.

Verlot Campground sits at the confluence of the Stillaguamish River and Benson Creek on the Mountain Loop Road. Two small loops put the majority of the 26 campsites in close proximity to moving water. This is a popular swimming and tubing site with kayak access. Check out the charming fish-viewing bridge. Running water and flush toilets are available. The campground is within walking distance of the small town of Robe.

The Verlot Public Service Center is right next to this campground. It is a good place to get local maps and information from US Forest Service representatives. There are a number of hikes within range that give you beautiful views of the mountains.
