Visited in August 2015, my impression was very beautiful campground and area, lots to see do and explore in the actual campground as well as surrounding area, sites were generously sized, well spaced with lots of vegetation so pretty private, arrived at noon on a Friday and got one of the last 3 available first-come-first served sites, we tent camped on this trip & fit 2 tents one being 13 x13 plus 3 vehicles and still felt roomy. bathrooms clean & well stocked/maintained. This would have made my list of go to campgrounds but we had the unfortunate coincidence of total nightmare neighbors on two sides, loud music party all night types and hollering unruly teens on the other side, big time spoiler. On site hosts go home at 9pm so no rule enforcement. Suspect the other loop which is receivable is quieter. If quiet is your thing aim for early or late in the season (when school is in session)
