THE HAMMA HAMMA CAMPGROUND


Hamma Hamma Campground

Follow US Hwy 101 fourteen miles north of Hoodsport. Turn left onto FS Rd. # 25 and follow a nicely paved road for 6.5 miles and turn left into The Hamma Hamma Campground, maintained by the US Forest Service out of the Hood Canal Ranger District.

There are 15 sites in one loop bordering the Hamma Hamma River. All of the campsites are surrounded by gorgeous mixed forest of bigleaf maples, grand fir, western hemlock and Douglas fir, a few are of the sites are riverside. There are vault toilets and water is available at the Lena Creek Campground 2 miles west.

The trailhead for the CCC Living Legacy Interpretive Trail is located in the campground and provides lots of access to the river. The very popular Lena Lake trailhead is located on FS Road #25 about 2 miles west of the campground.
